Description
Duckling is a delicate oil for care, bathing and massage, which can be used on children from the first day of life. It contains oils: from apricot kernels, wheat germ and sunflower seeds as well as marigold extract, thanks to which it has a softening, soothing and nourishing effect. Just add a few drops to the bath or massage into gently moist skin – it leaves it smooth and pleasant to touch and absorbs instantly.
Effects:
We have not added any essential oils or other fragrances to the Duckling (Kaczuszka), thanks to which we have managed to create a product that is as mild and neutral as possible. We have recognized that this is a key issue in the care of delicate skin for both a child and an adult who has problems with allergies or AD for example. Officially, we dedicate the Duckling to the youngest, but don’t let the name fool you – it can be used with success (and with pleasure) regardless of age. It should appeal to people with sensitive, demanding skin prone to irritation, looking for the mildest, yet effective cosmetics.
So if you are looking for an oil that you can use without fear in child’s skin care, the Duckling will hit the spot. It works perfectly together with our Teddy Bear soap, which is also known for its gentleness – it does not contain fragrances, it is based only on nutritious oils and lanolin, softening the epidermis.
Speaking of oils contained in the Duckling (Kaczuszka), we focused on a simple and short, but proven, natural composition. It is based on sunflower seed oil, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties on the skin, softens and regenerates it. It also reduces the amount of free radicals and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Thanks to this, it effectively prevents excessive water loss and the negative impact of pollution from the environment. It is also an additional natural filter that protects against harmful UV radiation. Apricot kernel oil, which also plays a significant role in the Duckling, resembles the natural lipid layer of the skin, thanks to which it is perfectly absorbed and does not leave an oily layer. It alleviates and soothes all types of irritation, smoothes and nourishes. It also contains unsaturated fatty acids – including oleic, linoleic and palmitic, and is a source of vitamin A which has a key role in skin care.
We were also looking for an emollient containing large amounts of vitamin E and wheat germ oil. It is one of its richest natural sources, so you can call it a real regeneration bomb. It also contains phytosterols and phospholipids, which, additionally, strengthen its antioxidant properties. It has softening and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin, it also helps maintain an optimal degree of hydration. We added to the Duckling an extract of marigold, too, which has bactericidal and antifungal properties, and thanks to the presence of carotenoids and triterpenes, it accelerates wound healing and stimulates the process of epidermal regeneration. It strengthens the natural lipid coat, helps eliminate skin roughness and leaves it soft and nourished.

Apricot kernel oil – calms and soothes irritations, nourishes and smoothes.
Wheat germ oil – softens the skin and helps maintain an optimal degree of skin hydration.
Baobab oil – by penetrating the hair cuticles, it smoothes its structure and protects against drying, also strengthens it and protects against mechanical damage as well as high and low temperatures.
Marigold extract – has antifungal, antiseptic and bactericidal effect as well as regenerative properties.
