The name of bentonite clay owes its origin – nothing unusual about it – to the city in the USA where its first deposits were discovered. However, it may come as a surprise that this relatively unknown clay also has its deposits in the Polish Carpathians.
Bentonite clay is formed from volcanic rocks and can boast of being completely natural. Thanks to its properties, it absorbs both positive and negative electrical charges from the surface, which translates into an even better final effect during cleansing. On the other hand, the version enriched with activated charcoal doubles its cleansing properties.
Black clay effectively cares for oily, acne-prone and polluted skin. The clay should be mixed with warm water and applied to the face, waiting for about 20 minutes. During this time, it cannot be allowed to dry out, so to achieve satisfactory results, it is best to apply it during long baths, as the steaming water will constantly keep it moist. The mask should be washed off with warm water, additionally performing a gentle massage (especially in the case of oily skin). The best effects are achieved with regular use 2-3 times a week.
