Description
The tonic is especially recommended for couperose and sensitive skin, dry and prone to irritation. Most skin problems result from water loss, e.g. as a result of skin aging or the influence of external factors. The active ingredients of the tonic moisturize the skin, strengthen blood vessel walls and improve blood circulation, increase skin resistance to irritation The effect of a better condition of the skin tissue is to reduce redness, increase firmness and smooth the skin.
The basic moisturizing ingredients used in the tonic are hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans and sodium PCA, which are present in our skin but their content decreases with age. The most important representative of glycosaminoglycans is hyaluronic acid, which ensures the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin, and its molecule binds up to 250 water molecules. Sodium PCA (sodium pyroglutamate) is one of the components of NMF (natural moisturizing factor) found in the skin, which is responsible for proper hydration and elasticity of the stratum corneum.
Aloe extract moisturizes, soothes irritations, reduces discoloration of the epidermis. Also glycerin and panthenol soothe irritations and have anti-inflammatory properties. Other plant ingredients are extracts of RUSCH root, marigold flowers and Asiatica, and escin – a mixture of saponins from horse chestnut fruit. They make the blood capillaries in the skin more elastic and stronger. They also contain substances that are antioxidants that block the action of free radicals that cause skin aging.
How to use:
Shake the tonic immediately before use. Apply a small amount of tonic to a cotton pad and wipe the face or spray it directly onto the face. Attention! Avoid the eye area. The tonic can be used before applying makeup or after cleansing the face.
